This project grew out of a shared love of beautiful spaces and a genuine pleasure in hosting. Morocco felt obvious to us: the richness of its architecture, the beauty of its craftsmanship and an innate sense of hospitality. Creating this riad was our way of shaping a place where design meets human warmth, close attention to detail and the joy of simple moments.
Behind an unassuming door on Derb Jdid Dabachi, the house opens around a traditional patio and its clear-water pool. Zellige, tadelakt, carved wood and soft light come together in a contemporary Moroccan architecture. Every curve, every material tells of local craft.
Here, everything is lived privately. Riad Melqa is an intimate riad in Marrakech, a discreet address for anyone seeking a characterful riad far from the tourist trail. A boutique riad where each space invites calm, conversation and the Moroccan art of living, so that every stay feels authentic and quietly memorable.

Traditional Moroccan breakfast
Each morning Laaziza prepares a breakfast drawn from Moroccan tradition: msemen, baghrir, pancakes, breads, amlou, oils, honey, homemade preserves, seasonal fruit and local specialities, served with the time and generosity that define Moroccan hospitality.

Laaziza looks after the riad each day, discreetly and attentively. Bedrooms, patio and living spaces are prepared with the greatest care so that the house always feels welcoming.
